Lee Bars (Mansfield)'s Obituary
Nelson Lee Bars, son Gene Nelson and Betty Lou Binley Bars, was born June 18, 1959 in Denver, Colorado and departed this life on May 6, 2014 at his home in Mansfield, Missouri at the age fifty-four years, ten months and eighteen days.
He was preceded in death by his father, sister, Natasha Ulrich, maternal grandparents, Clarence and Edna Binley; paternal grandparents, Phine “Peanut” and Neva Bars. Lee is survived by his mother, Betty Schipper and a nephew, Seth Ulrich both of Mansfield, Missouri; great-aunt, Elizabeth Freeman; cousins, Ina Medendorp, Noel Freeman, Rallace, Rollan and Rilley Stewart, Patty Buchanan, Kay Keithley and Theresa Ramsey, as well as other distant cousins. He was born, raised and lived all of his life in the Denver area until moving to Mansfield, Missouri in 2000 to live near his mother. He was a sheet metal laborer and a certified gunsmith. Lee was a loving son and uncle and will be missed by his family and friends
