Len Edward Lamb (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Len Edward Lamb of Lebanon, MO was born September 21, 1952, in Porterville, California, the son of Dewey Lamb and Iola Moore Lamb. He passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Osage Beach, MO. He was seventy-three years, seven months, and twenty-five days of age.
Len was raised in Oroville, California and when he was eighteen years old, he joined the United States Air Force. He became a Material Management Specialist and served with the Air Force for 22 years, retiring as a Tech Sergeant. While he lived in several places during his career with the Air Force, his favorite duty station was in Alaska and chose it as his home following his retirement.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Len was a man of diverse interests and talents. He was a talented artist who completed countless beautiful paintings, humorous cartoon drawings, and elegant carving projects. His talent earned him awards at the Alaska State Fair for his carvings, and he was commissioned to create murals for the Air Force while enlisted. He loved to sing karaoke and was good at it.
Len was a lifetime member of Vietnam Veterans of America, AMVETS and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed spending time with other veterans at these organizations and the American Legion. He was a proud American and treasured his time he served in the Air Force.
He found joy in fishing and the outdoors; activities that allowed him to connect with nature and the tranquility it offered.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Iola Lamb.
He is survived by his daughter, Crystal Degand and her husband Lionel of Lebanon, Missouri; his son, Kevin Lamb and his wife Jamie of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Kalea Degand, Lionel Degand III, Naryna Degand, Bryce Lamb, Alexis Nations, Kevin Lamb, Jr. and Olivia Fuller; his two great-granddaughters; and his sisters, Pamela Lamb of Palermo, CA and Debra Lamb of Oroville, CA.
Most of all, Len loved his grandchildren very much and was proud of each one of them. He cherished the times they spent together and enjoyed watching them grow and develop their personalities.
Len held a special place in the hearts of his family. He will be greatly missed, and his memories will stay in the hearts of those he loved.
