Lennice Lucas' Obituary
Lennice R. Lucas, son of Leo and Nellie Aborn Lucas, was born January 17, 1964, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Saturday, September 3, 2011, from injuries received in a motorcycle accident in Blue Springs, Missouri, at the age of forty-seven years, seven months, and sixteen days.
His parents preceded him in death.
Lennice is survived by a daughter, Carolyn; a son, Christian; a granddaughter, Gracie; three brothers, Dexter Lucas, of Falcon, Missouri, Lawrence Lucas, of Hartville, Missouri, and Leo Lucas, of Jefferson City, Missouri; five sisters, Nelloid Matthews, of Mantachie, Mississippi, Zola Green, of Oildale, California, Fran Sumner, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Donna Lucas, of Competition, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in the Lebanon, Missouri area and graduated from Lebanon High School. He continued to live in the Lebanon area until moving to Neosho, Missouri two years ago. He had worked at various types of employment for the last several years.
He greatly enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were fishing, and riding his motorcycle.
Lennice was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
