Dear Melba & Family,
When I thought of Leonard I always thought about what a good Christian man he was. Always had a smile and was just a genuinely good person. He will truly be missed by a lot of people.

WE ARE SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS
Melba, Brent, and Family,
We loved Leonard and will always remember what a wonderful Christian brother he was! His smile and good strong handshake would always make the day a little brighter and life a little better. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers! Love in Christ, Lonnie & Margaret Painter
The angels in Heaven rejoiced!! when Leonard walked through the gates!! ....although I am saddened by his passing on to be with the Lord...I know in my heart he is in a much better place. Leonard was a great Christian man and a great friend to my father. I will always remember his smile and his never-ceasing teasing of me growing up in Hillcrest Baptist Church. I pray for his family, that God will give them strength and comfort today during this difficult time.

Melba, Brent, Marsha and family. Leonard was a dear friend and our brother in Christ. We loved him and all your family. Our thoughts will be with you today and the days to come. We shared many years of fun and laughter with Leonard , be it work or leisure. He was a strong Christian , willing to share with whoever. So many good memories. Never forget that smile. Waiting and looking forward to that day when we can all be together again.
Leonard was one of the few people in my life who knew my grandfather, Cleacy Cozort. He and Melba came to the hospital to see us after the birth of Luke. He asked "His name is Luke Cleacy?" I said "yes." Leonard said "Well, Cleacy sure would be proud of this one!" Hearing those words from Leonard, was almost as good as hearing them from my grandpa himself. He will be greatly missed. We love you all!
