L. Fred Osborne (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Lennis Fredrick Osborne, age 70, of Long Lane, Missouri passed away on Monday, May 31, 2010 at his home in Long, Lane, Missouri after a long courageous fight with cancer.
He was born May 30, 1940 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Lennis Franklin Osborne and Luella Marie (Bradley) Osborne.
On October 6, 1990 he married Beverly D. Harman in Stockton, Missouri.
Fred was in construction and an Auto Body Mechanic for many years. He served in the United States Marine Corp and was a former member of the Eagles Club in Urbana, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a stepmother, Leta Burkett, his brother, Michael and a sister, Jean Gruye.
Fred is survived by his wife, Beverly D. Osborne of the home, four sons, Roger Ballinger and Aaron Ballinger both of Long Lane, Missouri, Lennis and Paul Osborne, four daughters, Diana Garrison and her husband Tony of Bennett Springs, Missouri, Patty, Lisa and Belinda Osborne, two sisters, Dora Marie Williams of Festus, Missouri, Julia Joyce France of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and many grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, June 4, 2010 at Reed Cemetery south of Halfway, Missouri under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri. Military Honors will be provided by the Fifth District Honor Guard of the American Veterans at AMVETS Post #114 of Flemington, Missouri. A visitation will be held from 11:30am-12:30pm on Friday at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar. Pallbearers will be Tony Garrison, Glen Harman, Steve Hunter, Karl Harman, Brian Jones and Jeff Gill.
