Lillian Dyer (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Mrs. Lillian Marie Dyer, age 92, of Bolivar, Missouri passed away on Saturday evening, February 18, 2012 at Citizen’s Memorial Healthcare Facility in Bolivar, Missouri.
She was born December 26, 1919 in Dry Bayou, Missouri, the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Allen and Emma (Devine) Allen.
On December 14, 1933 she married Walter E. Dyer.
Lillian was an Inspector for the VM Corporation, a music company, in Benton Harbor, Michigan for over 20 years. She was a member of the Obion Chapel in Troy, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Dyer on July 19, 1991 her son, George Dyer on September 22, 2009, three sisters; Florence Champion, Geneva Stone, Lois Sears, and one brother; Wink Allen.
Lillian is survived by her son; Dwight W. Dyer and his wife Nadine of Bolivar, Missouri, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the Terrace Hill Cemetery in Troy, Tennessee with Reverend Marvin Wilson officiating under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri. No visitation will be held.
