Lillian Lynch (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Lillian E. Lynch, 96 years of age was born January 10, 1924. She went to be with the Lord on March 15, 2020. Lillian was born in Lewisport, Kentucky, the daughter of Lonnie and Allie Reynolds.
Lillian attended business school and managed a production office during the WWII war effort in Evansville, Indiana. There she met and married John W. Lynch and had two sons, John (JD) and James. Lillian devoted her time to raising a family, homemaking, and the ministry of a pastor’s wife. She returned to work and retired as manager of an ophthalmic surgeon’s office in Louisville, KY.
Lillian moved to Bolivar, Missouri in 2006 and became an active member of Heritage Baptist Church. She was cared for during the last year of her life by the wonderfully professional and loving staff of CMHCF in Bolivar.
Lillian is survived by her son, John (JD) Lynch and his wife Susan C. Lynch, her brother David Reynolds of Wheatland, WY, her grandchildren: Rebekah Jenkins and husband Grant Jenkins, David Lynch and Steven Lynch, and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband John W. Lynch, her son James Lynch, her parents Lonnie and Allie Reynolds, and her brother Robert Reynolds.
Services for Lillian Lynch will be held privately by the family under the direction of the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, MO. Interment will be in Louisville, KY at Resthaven Memorial Cemetery.
