Linda L Bacon (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Linda L Bacon, 79, of Morrisville, Missouri went home to be with the lord on Sunday September 4th, 2016.
Linda was born in Louisburg, Missouri to Russie and Ressie Greer. She would go on to marry the love of her life Jim Bacon. Together they would raise three beautiful daughters. While raising a family Linda worked for Citizens Memorial Healthcare as the Admissions Coordinator for long term care. Through the years she worked with and met many families, lovingly assisting them in placement for long term care for a loved one. Linda then retired and took on the role as caregiver after her husband suffered a stroke. She cared for him until his death in 2005. In recent years she worked crossword puzzles, read books and drank sweet tea. Alzheimer's began to take its toll on Linda earlier this year. She put up a courageous and fought to the end. Her last breath came as the sun rose on Sunday.
She is survived by her 3 daughters Diana L Bacon and husband Jim Kreisler of Springfield,MO. Kimberly B Cunetto of Mesa, AZ. Terri Grant and husband Kent of Morrisville,MO. 5 grandchildren, Claire Turissini and husband Kevin of Springfield MO, Emily Cunetto of San Francisco, CA. Christopher Cunetto of Washington DC. Derek Shaw of Bolivar,MO and Colby Grant of Morrisville, MO. 2 siblings Betty Parker of Golden City,MO. John Greer and wife Shirley of Goodson. A sister-in-law Judy Greer of Bolivar.
As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband 2 sisters, Joan Vincent and her husband Bill and Joyce Crowl and her husband Dean. 1 brother, Jim Greer and a brother-in-law Alden Parker.
Graveside services are Friday September 9,2016 at 10:00 am at Greenwood cemetery. The service will be officiated by Pastor Patty Smith Morrisville United Methodist Church. Arrangements under the care of Butler Funeral Home.
