Linda Bricker (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Linda Jane Bricker (Brinkley), 77, passed away in her home on Tuesday February 1, 2022.
Linda was born July 7, 1944 to Elma and Clyde Brinkley in Browning MO. She grew up in Browning - the youngest of four children.
She raised her girls, Cathy and Connie, in Clinton Mo. She started her career with Wal-Mart in 1973 and retired after 23 years.
She married Jay Bricker in 1988 and enjoyed her life on the farm raising cattle. She was an amazing cook and loved making meals for her family. Her famous fried chicken was requested by all. She was also a mean “Pitch” card player. You better be ready to win if you were lucky enough to be her partner. She was an avid St Louis Cardinals baseball fan and enjoyed watching the games with Jay.
She is survived by husband Jay, of the home; daughters Cathy (Chuck) Jorgensen, Connie (Mike) Freeman; granddaughters, Tiffany Woodin and Natsha Norris, and grandson Kyle Jorgensen. She had three step-children including Jennifer Bricker Whitaker who was close to Linda, 13 additional grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She also loved all of her nieces and nephews who lovingly called her “Nin”.
She is preceded in death by sister Helen Boley; brothers Bud and Jim Brinkley; and grandchildren Tara Jane and Ryan Michael Freeman.
Cremation rites are being accorded by the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo, Missouri.
