Linda Lou Green (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Linda Lou Green was born to Albert Koehler and Sylvia Brackett Koehler on October 27, 1953 near Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Sunday, May 17, 2026 at her home in Seymour, Missouri at the age of seventy-two years, six months and twenty-one days.
Linda grew up in the Competition, Missouri community and graduated from Lebanon High School. She was employed as a seamstress at H.D. Lee in Lebanon and did house cleaning for several years.
On July 11, 1974, Linda married the love of her life, James Green. Together they built a beautiful life rooted in devotion, family and shared memories. This past year, they celebrated almost fifty-two years of marriage, a testament to their enduring love and partnership.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Sylvia; her brothers, Ralph, Dale, Ronnie, and Billy Koehler; and her grandson, Tyler Green.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, James, of Seymour, Missouri; her son, William Bradley Green of Hartville, Missouri; two daughters, Stacy Young and her husband Robert of Ormond Beach, Florida and Elizabeth Caswell and her husband Aaron of Seymour, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Brian and his wife Britt, Trey and his wife Marilyn, Matthew, Mica and her husband Camden, Jasmine and her husband Brett, Callie, Romie and his significant other Rylee, Charity and Emily; five great-grandchildren, Evan, Austin, Maverick, Opal and Harper; her twin sister, Brenda Kimberlin of Lebanon, Missouri and her sister, Becky Sing of Lynchburg, Missouri; two sister-in-laws, Mary Koehler and Betty Koehler, both of Competition, Missouri; and other relatives and friends.
Linda enjoyed going to Yard Sales, doing jigsaw puzzles, and word search games. She liked keeping her mind active.
Linda had a servant’s heart and always put everyone above herself. Her life rotated around her family and she cherished the times they could be together. She was devoted wife, cherished mother, wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother, sister and friend. Her loss is deeply felt by her family and she will be so missed.
A service will be held Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Oasis Worship Center in Lebanon.
A memorial has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
