Linda Lou Greife (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Linda Lou (Hutchison) Sterling-Greife, daughter of Hobert and Elizabeth (Lingle) Hutchison, was born February 22, 1946 in California, Missouri. She departed this life Wednesday, June 14, 2023 in Lake Regional Hospital, at the age of seventy-seven years, three months, and twenty-three days.
On September 5, 1993, Linda was united in marriage to Robert Greife and together they shared seven years of marriage until his passing on December 16, 2001.
Linda was also preceded in death by a son, Philip Sterling; her parents; a sister, Sarah Gares; and a brother, Don Hutchison.
She is survived by her children, Don Sterling, of Camdenton, Missouri, Kim Roam and husband Bradley, of Springfield, Missouri, and Richard Sterling and wife Nancy, of Jefferson City, Missouri; her grandchildren, Nicholas Sterling, Alexandria (Alex) Roam and Raymond Roam; a sister, Nellie Farris, of Versailles, Missouri; and Tonia “TK” Starr, who was like a daughter to her; she is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
Linda grew up in Versailles, Missouri and was a graduate of Versailles High School. Following graduation, Linda started her family and spent many years as a stay-at-home mom and lovingly raised her children. When her children were grown, Linda started her career as a florist and spent many years in the floral industry. Linda was an avid supporter of the Camdenton Laker Football Program. She was also a member of the Camden Rural Fire Auxiliary for several years.
In her spare time, Linda loved to make crafts and work in her flower garden. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.
Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2023 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Burial will follow in Dale Blair Memorial Cemetery, Camdenton, Missouri. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. till time of service, Wednesday, June 21, 2023 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
Memorial donations may be made to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and left at the funeral home.
