Linda Sue Hill (Buffalo)'s Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Linda Sue Hill, 77, of Buffalo, went to be with her Lord and Savior on the morning of December 27, 2024.
Linda was born on September 9, 1947, to Roy Strawhacker and Armilda (Henderson) Strawhacker.
Linda married her lifelong companion Aubrey, on September 15th, 1962. From this union five children were born: Carolyn, Terry, Kevin, Nancy, and Mona.
Linda was a very hard working, kind-hearted lady. She always kept beautiful flower gardens. Linda had a passion for collecting and found joy in her impressive collections of Barbie dolls, McDonald's memorabilia, Coca-Cola and M&M keepsakes as well as an array of treasured items. Linda enjoyed scrapbooking, watching Jeopardy, old T.V. shows, and finding treasures at flea markets.
Linda was saved and became a member at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church where she attended many years. She spoke often of her concern for her grandchildren needing salvation.
She was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband Aubrey, two sisters, her daughter, Nancy and her grandson, Joshua.
She is survived by two sisters, four children, ten grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Linda will be remembered not only for her collections, and pastimes, but also for the kindness and love she shared with those fortunate enough to have known her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and the countless lives she touched. May she rest in eternal love and peace.
Services are scheduled for Thursday, Jan 2nd, 2025, at 12:00 pm. at the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo with Brother Dustin Dueker and Brother Kenny Mallard officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00am - 12:00pm. Following all services, Linda will be laid to rest at Mt. Olive Cemetery near Fair Grove, Missouri.
The pallbearers will be: Terry Hill, Terry Hill, Jr., Derek Dueker, Dylan Dueker, Devin Dueker, Eric Schwartz, Justin Newberry, Brandon Hill, and Braidon Moore
Arrangements are under the guidance of Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo, Missouri.
