Thinking of you all with love, sympathy, and prayers. Linda was such a beautiful lady and special friend and neighbor. We pray that God will bless you all with wonderful memories.
My dearest Aunt was never Aunt Linda to me, but simply “Auntie”. A surrogate Mom across the road to help me in any way needed. We still exchanged handwritten letters as long as her health allowed.
I remember what a huge deal it was when the Lewis’s got their first color TV, seemingly a console larger than a ford pinto, well maybe to a kid it was…….Nevertheless, we still had the old B & W at our house so my family, and theirs would congregate in front of the set on Saturday night to watch Hee Haw, and savor Chef-Boyardee pizza ; nothing better than that.
She made yeast rolls that were far better than Lambert’s Café could ever hope to be, and her signature chocolate cake in the ole’ tin pan was to die for….
She scolded me when deserved, took thinning shears to my mop-top on her front porch whenever needed, and gave hugs and kisses generously. A kind matriarch with a heart of gold, an unbridled faith in the Lord, and a love of family which will be long remembered.

Our hearts go out to all of the family. Praying for peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Linda was the kindest, most caring person I ever knew. Whether the need was in Lebanon, or Ethiopia - when she heard of suffering, she tried to help.
When I was 8 years old, she sewed me a nurse’s outfit, complete with white cap. Best Christmas present I ever had! I could not have asked for a better sister-in-law. She will be missed by so many whose lives she touched.

She always was so kind to me and showed me the love of Christ despite my sins and shortcomings. I will always remember her letters of encouragement. She will be greatly missed but I am confident she is now in the presence of the Lord. In the end, nothing we do or say in this lifetime will matter as much as the way we have loved one another.
