Linda Luttrell (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Linda Ann Stroup Luttrell was born on January 20, 1935, in Newburg, Missouri to Wilbert and Verla McBride Stroup. She departed this life Sunday, September 11, 2022, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of eighty-seven years, seven months, and twenty-one days.
On August 30, 1952, in Harrison, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Bobby “Bob” Lemoine Luttrell. They shared almost forty-seven years of happiness and memories, before his passing on July 14, 1999.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Maxine Stroup, and Mary Stroup Carey.
Linda is survived by two daughters, Lisa Lewis, and her husband, Jerry, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Debra Phillips, of Blue Springs, Missouri; two sons, Bob Luttrell, and his wife, Debbie, of Shawnee, Kansas, and Dirk Luttrell, and his wife, Stephanie, of Olathe, Kansas; nine grandchildren, Kim Phillips, Chris Phillips, and his wife, Jennifer, Jason Lewis, and his wife, Lori, Amber Lewis Pennington, and her husband, Lewis, Chad Lewis, and his wife, Robin, Breeanna Luttrell, Cullen Luttrell, Olivia Luttrell, and Heath Luttrell; three step-grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She worked at the Sunshine Biscuit Factory in Kansas City, Kansas in her early years and then worked on her family farm alongside her husband from 1973 until 2017 when she then moved to Lebanon.
Linda was baptized on Easter Sunday in 1945 at the Baptist Church in Newburg, Missouri.
She loved working puzzles, crocheting, quilting, doing crossword puzzles, watching crime shows on television, and having her family around her. Her favorite song was “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” by Judy Garland.
Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
