She was born near Lebanon and for a time Linda lived with her family in California. Linda moved back to the Lebanon area with her family where she graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1967. After she and Kenneth were married, Linda was a devoted homemaker and loving mother. Linda worked for the Beneficial Finance Corporation office in Lebanon for several years and then was the secretary at the Lebanon Church of the Nazarene for a number of years. For the last ten years, she had been a receptionist at Holman-Howe Funeral Home. She was very involved in the Salvation Army in Lebanon where she worked and put in lots of volunteer hours.
Linda made her profession of faith in Christ early in her life and was a long time active member of Lebanon Church of the Nazarene, which is now Freedom Nazarene. A few years ago, she moved her membership to the Ozark Hills Freewill Baptist Church. She had a great love for her Lord and a deep abiding faith which helped her through the years.
In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and growing beautiful plants and flowers. She possessed a delightful sense of humor with a touch of sarcasm and greatly enjoyed laughing and having fun. She loved her family dearly and was especially close to her grandchildren.
Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will hold tight to the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 24 at 2 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park.
