Linda Kay Patton (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Linda Kay Patton was born December 8, 1946 in Lebanon, Missouri to Roy F. and Violet C. Adams Jones. She passed away at Mercy Hospital in Lebanon, Missouri on March 5, 2025 at the age of seventy-eight years, two months and thirty days.
Linda grew up in Lebanon and attended Lebanon Schools. Following graduation, she moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where she was a homemaker and active mom to her children.
In 1982 she moved to Lake of the Ozarks and operated the Lake Ozark Speedway.
In 1983, she came to Lebanon where she joined the staff at Lebanon Care Center. She served as a cook before becoming the Activities Director. She then became the HR Director at the facility and retired from this position in 2008.
On January 17, 2004, Linda was married to Donald Patton.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Violet Jones; her husbands, Don Cox and Larry Fuller; a brother, Kenneth; and seven sisters; Betty Paul, Helen Johnson, Ruby Miller, Ida Shivers, Marie Henson, Mildred Blanton and Maxine Caudle.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Patton of Conway, Missouri; two daughters, Lisa Wagner and her husband Joe of Centralia, Illinois and Tina Choate of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; and one son, Travis Patton and his wife Kimberly of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Being raised in a pastor’s home, Linda had a strong faith and loved her Heavenly Father very much. While living in Tulsa, she served as treasurer at the Christ Church.
Linda enjoyed playing the piano and the guitar. She was also a talented seamstress and had made a quilt for each of the grandchildren. She loved doing crafts and had a special interest in dolls and doll houses.
Linda liked hosting family holiday dinners and loved a good card or domino game.
She was a woman of deep faith. Her life was a testament to the values of love, compassion and kindness. Linda leaves behind a legacy of love and service that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
