Linda Ray Jamison (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Linda Ray Jamison, daughter of Charles Ray and Mary May Mitschele Jamison, was born October 25, 1948, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Wednesday, June 9, 2010, in Christian Health Care North, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-one years, seven months, and fourteen days.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Linda is survived by two sisters, Alvena Armstrong, and her husband, Edwin, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Rosemary Shields, and her husband, Rolland, of McCook, Nebraska; one nephew; eight nieces; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Lebanon, Missouri, and graduated from Lebanon High School. Linda lived all of her life in the Lebanon area. She worked in the housekeeping and maintenance business for many years and was employed by United Savings and Loan and Kinderhook Regional Library. She also did housekeeping in private homes as well.
Linda made her profession of faith in Christ early in her life and was a longtime member of Southern Heights Christian Church.
In her spare time she enjoyed fishing, going to yard sales, doing word search puzzles, and caring for and playing with her dogs. She never complained about things and was always in a pleasant mood. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed her nieces and nephew.
Linda was a loving sister and aunt, and was a kind and caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them throughout the years.
