Linda S. Lewis (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Linda Sue Lewis, daughter of Milton and Florence Evans Rice, was born January 26, 1950, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Saturday, January 23, 2016, in Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-five years, eleven months, and twenty-eight days.
On September 8, 1970, she was united in marriage to Larry R. Lewis, and they shared the last forty-five years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter-in-law, Norma Lewis; a brother, Eugene Rice; and a sister, Eula Sharp.
Linda is survived by her husband, Larry, of the home; a son, Bobby Lewis, of Lebanon, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She lived most of her life in the Lebanon, Missouri, area. In addition to being a devoted homemaker to her husband and family, Linda was employed by the H. D. Lee Company for eleven years, and then worked at Wal Mart for eleven years.
She loved horses and liked going to horse auctions. She also liked growing a garden each year, and was especially proud of her homegrown tomatoes. She enjoyed taking care of her home and had a fondness for cats.
Linda was a loving wife, mother, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
Private Burial will be held.
