Linda Lou Weeks (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Linda Lou Weeks, daughter of Ivan and Anna Lee (Palmer) Dill, was born on November 29, 1948 in Niangua, MO and left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on December 23, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. At the time of her passing she was 77 years and 24 days of age. Linda graduated from Buffalo High School in 1966. She was saved in a revival meeting at Charity Missionary Baptist Church as a young girl and joined that Church and was baptized. She loved her Church and had a great concern for it and remained a devoted member and attended until her health would no longer permit it. On July 16, 1966, she married the love of her life, Jerry Weeks. She worked at Bolivar Mfg., Jethro’s in Springfield, and Key Industries in Buffalo when she was younger. Most of her life she was a homemaker and was very good at that. She was talented at sewing, crafting, decorating, and especially cooking. She loved the holidays with cooking and decorating. She always wanted to make sure the families on both sides were together for the holidays, and they will, from the youngest to the oldest remember her signature dish, those Butterhorn Rolls. She had a great love for family and friends. She enjoyed going on camping trips with friends and family until her health wouldn’t permit it. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Ores and Annie Dill and Robert and Flossie Palmer; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wint and Thelma Weeks; and sister-in-law, Karen Weeks. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jerry Weeks of the home; one sister, Janice and husband Jack Jones of Long Lane, MO; two brothers, Mark and wife Sherry Dill of Buffalo, MO and Mike and wife Cindy Dill of Elkland, MO; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Sharon Weeks of Conway, MO, Steve and Bobbie Weeks of Buffalo, MO, and Danny Weeks of Elkland, MO; and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces. Linda will be sadly missed by her family and friends, her church family, and all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 26, 2025 in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Vest officiating. Escorts will be Jared Dill, Kevin Dill, Stacy Weeks, Jeremy Weeks, Brandon Weeks, Curtis Hoover, and Steve Caston. Interment will be in the Macedonia Cemetery under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
