Lisa A. Cornelison (Seymour)'s Obituary
Lisa Ann Cornelison, age 43 of Nixa, Missouri passed away Wednesday April 17, 2019 in her home surrounded by friends and family after a long courageous battle against cancer.
She was born Saturday November 22, 1975 in Springfield, Missouri to Robert L. and Joyce L. (Hurst) Cornelison, one of two daughters born to this union. She graduated from Fordland High School with the class of 1994. Lisa went on to become a supervisor with Christian County Enterprises, an adult workshop where she truly enjoyed helping people with disabilities. Enjoying her life long friends and their travels and adventures filled her free time as well as raising the center of her world, her son Chandler. She loved to go to antique shops and garage sales to find the bargains!
Lisa was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents William & Lucille Hurst as well as two uncles.
Surviving her is her son Chandler Cornelison of Nixa; her parents Robert & Joyce Cornelison of Fordland; a sister Nichole Kemp and her husband Mark of Springfield; paternal grandparents William & Helen Cornelison; five aunts Marcella Todd, Lana Husley, Donna Wester, Debbie Myers and Karen Barton; three uncles Jeff Wester, Dennis Myers and Tony Husley; one niece Cara; three nephews Kadin, Noah and Luke as well as her very close, life long friends Christy, Jill, Michelle, Sara, Tabitha, Virgil and Reva.
