Lisa Kay Jones (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Lisa Kay Jones, daughter of Larry and Cheryl Evans Patton, was born September 30, 1964 in Columbia, Missouri. She departed this life Saturday, February 22, 2025, in Richland Care Center. She was sixty years, four months, and twenty-three days of age.
Lisa grew up in the Richland community and was a graduate of Richland High School in the class of 1982. She was a good student and had many friends. She was also a very good athlete and played on the Richland High School basketball team and softball team.
She was employed with the United States Postal Service for sixteen years. Most of those years were at the Lebanon, Missouri Post Office. She was a hard worker and took her responsibilities at the post office very seriously.
On October 19, 1991, Lisa was united in marriage to Greg Jones.
Lisa was very close to her family. She loved them all but she dearly loved her mother. She also loved children and her dog, Caesar. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she looked forward to the season each year.
She made a profession of faith under the ministry of pastor Chris Thornton.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Larry Patton; her maternal grandparents, William I. (Bill) and Twyllia Evans and her paternal grandparents, Linvil and Ruby Patton.
She is survived by her companion and caregiver, Greg Jones of Richland, Missouri; her loving mother, Cheryl Patton of Richland, Missouri; her sister, Leah Ann Henson of Richland, Missouri and a number of nieces and nephews.
Lisa will be remembered for her love of family and her dedication to her loved ones. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
