Lisa Sue's Obituary
isa Sue Lee, daughter of Lawrence Franklin and Donna Sue (Ridenour) Emerick, was born November 26, 1964, in Springfield, Missouri. She departed this life Saturday, March 22, 2008, in Centerpoint Hospital, in Independence, Missouri, at the age of forty-three years, three months, and twenty-six days. She was preceded in death by her mother. Lisa is survived by a daughter, Alesha Freeman, and her husband, Brent, of Grain Valley, Missouri; two sons, Nick Kuhn and his fiancée, Spencer Dill, of Mansfield, Missouri, Kevin Kuhn of the home; two grandsons, Tanner and Ty Freeman, and was eagerly awaiting the birth of Nick and Spencer’s son; her father, Lawrence Emerick, and his wife, Tammy, of Seymour, Missouri; a sister, Tammy Blackburn, and her husband, Ron, of Marshfield, Missouri; four brothers, Larry Emerick, of Seymour, Missouri, Terry Emerick, and his wife, Trish, of Mansfield, Missouri, Ricky Emerick, and Michael Emerick, both of Seymour, Missouri; three step-sisters, April and Jacki Shover, both of Springfield, Missouri, and Trista Lucas, and her husband, Kevin, of Fordland, Missouri; two step-brothers, Grady Bennett, and his wife, Brittany, and Brady Bennett, all of Seymour, Missouri; a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; as well as a host of other relatives and many dear friends. She was born and raised in Seymour and attended Seymour Schools. She moved to the Kansas City area several years ago and worked for Tucker’s Masonry as a pointer caulker and cleaner. Lisa had made her profession of faith in Christ and had attended the First Baptist Church of Seymour. She was a member of Bricklayers Allied Craft Workers Union Local #15 in the Kansas City area. She centered her life on her family and loved her children and grandchildren dearly. Lisa was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and niece and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she has created for her family and dear friends. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008, in the Holman-Howe Chapel, Seymour. Burial will be in the Seymour Masonic Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Seymour, Missouri. Memorials to a fund for Lisa's grandchildren may be made through the funeral home. Return to top
