Liza Anne Luebke (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Liza Anne Luebke, daughter of Floyd and Eunice Hicks Martison, was born March 5, 1962, in Phoenix, Arizona. She departed this life Monday, May 7, 2012, in her home, near Phillipsburg, Missouri, at the age of fifty years, two months, and two days.
On October 14, 2001, she was united in marriage to Dennis K. Luebke, and they shared the last ten years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Rick and Jim Martison.
Liza is survived by her husband, Dennis, of the home; three daughters, Melisa Kitchell, and her husband, Joshua, Amanda Null, all of DeSoto, Missouri, and Stephanie Mitchell, and her husband, Derek, of Lebanon, Missouri; five grandchildren, Lillian, Etheon, Layla, Levi, and Logan; a brother, Robin Martison, of Hermiston, Oregon; seven sisters, Susan Deel, of Springdale, Arkansas, Bonnie Jones, of Huber Heights, Ohio, Kathy Flores, and her husband, Randy, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Nancy Flores, of Fresno, California, Belinda Miller, of Portland, Oregon, Joy Taylor, and her husband, Paul of Lebanon, Missouri, and Kristina Speier, of Aurora, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Arizona, and then moved with her family to DeSoto, Missouri, where she attended Hillsboro High School. She then made her home in Lebanon, Missouri, where she lovingly raised her daughters. She worked for the H. D. Lee Company until it closed, and then decided to attend Drury University where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in 2007. She worked for Piney Ridge Care Center for a time before becoming a case manager for Pathways Community Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. for the last year. She greatly enjoyed her work at Pathways and felt that she was helping others.
In her spare time she enjoyed shopping, collecting figurines and particularly bells. She also had a fondness for animals. Her family was always very important to her and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
Liza was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them throughout the years.
