L. Moriece Skarvan (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Mrs. Moriece Skarvan, age 91 of Bolivar, Missouri passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Parkview Healthcare Facility in Bolivar, Missouri.
She was born on January 7, 1921 in Bolivar, Missouri, the daughter of Ernest Gallivan and Tressie (Pope) Gallivan.
On August 10, 1940 she married Milton George Skarvan in Ozark, Missouri. She attended Southwest Baptist University for two years and received an Associate Arts Degree.
Moriece was a homemaker and had also owned an Antique Store with her husband for many years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bolivar. Moriece was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Ernest & Tressie Gallivan, her husband; Milton Skarvan on December 13, 2004, and a brother; Deryll Gallivan, and his son Mike Gallivan.
Moriece is survived by her son; Jim Skarvan and his wife Karen of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, a daughter; Jane Otradovec and her husband Jim of Bolivar, Missouri, three grandchildren; Jennifer Otradovec, Jamie Skarvan and Kristina Cromer and her husband Jacob, one great grandson, her sister-in-law; Mary Gallivan of Owensville, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
