Lois June Clark (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Lois June Clark was born October 2, 1933, in Kansas City, Kansas, and departed this life Wednesday, August 28, 2019, in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of eighty-five years, ten months, and twenty-six days.
On August 20, 1955, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Eugene Clark and to this union one daughter and two sons were born.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Blair, her mother, Ellen Waterman and step-dad Roy Waterman; her husband, Kenneth, on August 19, 2013; and two sons, Kevin and Randy Clark; an infant grandson; and two brothers Monte Waterman and Warren Blair.
Lois is survived by a daughter, Randa Vance, and her husband, David, of Lebanon, Missouri; a daughter-in-law, Ellen Clark, of Lebanon, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Hannah Powell, of the State of Maryland, Kevin Clark II, Brandi Clark, Tabatha Clark, Skylar Clark, Lacee Clark, and Sam Clark, all of Lebanon, Missouri; five great-grandchildren, Esther, Nataleigh, Lilly, Lane, and Kaylee; three sisters, Carolyn Waterman, of Lebanon, Missouri, Thelma King, of Springfield, Missouri, Ruth Williams, of Richland, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born In Kansas City, Kansas and raised in Lebanon, Missouri, where she graduated from Lebanon High School. After high school she enjoyed being a pastor and evangelist before marrying and focusing on her family. After she and Kenneth were married, they made their home in Lebanon and lovingly raised their children. In addition to being a devoted homemaker to her husband and family, Lois also worked as a cook for the Lebanon R-III Schools for thirty years.
Lois was saved during a revival when she was twelve years old, and was a longtime member of Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church of God. Later, she attended Taylor Avenue Full Gospel Church.
She enjoyed growing beautiful flowers and taking care of her family. Her faith and her family were in the center of her life and she often said that “Jesus was her Hero!” She loved her family dearly and especially liked having time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lois was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
Lois A memorial has been established for, One Child Matters and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 2 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon. Burial will be in the Bradshaw Cemetery in Lebanon.
