Lois Clouse's Obituary
Lois Grace Clouse, daughter of F. A. and Ada Burks Clouse, was born November 5, 1930, near Fordland, Missouri. She departed this life Thursday, June 15, 2006, in Maranatha Village, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of seventy-five years, seven months, and ten days. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Kenneth, Paul, and Rev. George Clouse, and his wife, Laurel. Lois is survived by a sister, Bettie Eagleston, and her husband, Herman, of Mansfield, Missouri; two brothers, James Clouse, and his wife, Dee, and David Clouse, and his wife, Elaine, all of Mansfield, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Naomi Clouse, of Mansfield, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was born near Fordland and raised in Mansfield community where she graduated from Mansfield High School in the Class of 1948. Lois was a song evangelist for 10 years, traveling around the country with Yvonne Batton. She centered her life on her family and loved spending time with them. She was known as Aunt Lois by all her family and friends. Lois was saved at an early age and faithfully attended the Brush Arbor Church of God Holiness, as long as her health permitted. In her spare time she enjoyed evening walks and visiting with neighbors. Lois was a loving sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she has created for her family and friends.
