I just learned of Lois' passing. I am so very sorry for your loss. She was my teacher and inspiration to become a teacher. What a very lovely lady. She will remain in my heart always. I've never known anyone as gentle and understanding and kind as Lois.

Lois always had a joke or a funny story to tell us when our Alpha Delta Kappa educational group met. We treasure the times we had together and will miss our "sister".

Blessings and prayers for the remaining family. Whenever I think of Lois I remember a time way back at the old Western Hills Church. It was "Talent" night and Ed and Lois were coerced into singing a special. Everyone was expected to do something! Amid much fanfare they go to the front. Shirley Moore starts to play but a totally different song than they had planned to sing. Neither of them were aware of this and gamely started to sing their song. Needless to say it was one of the shortest "Specials" on record! She was a "Special" lady for sure! Donna Downey
