Lois L Jones (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Lois Lucille Jones, daughter of Troy and Gertie L. Owen Bell, was born August 14, 1935, in Conway, Missouri. She departed this life Thursday, October 29, 2015, in Mercy Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of eighty years, two months, and fifteen days.
In 1953, she was united in marriage to Leo Jones, and to this union two daughters and one son were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Tina M. Jones Dame, and Teresa Ann Jones; a brother, Clarence Bell; and two sisters, Hazel Morehouse, and Mary Suttoch.
Lois is survived by her loving husband, Leo, of the home; a son, Dennis Jones, of Conway, Missouri; six grandchildren, Jennifer Wilson, Jason Wilson, Malissa Wilson, and Michael Wilson, all of the State of California, David Jones, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Kennedy Rae Jones, of St. Joseph, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Conway community and attended Conway Schools. She then moved with her father to the Dixon community, and graduated from Dixon High School. After she and Leo were married, she worked for the Buster Brown Shoe Company for awhile, and they then moved to Lebanon. Lois was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family, and also worked in the custodial department for the Lebanon R-III Schools. The family then moved to California where Lois worked in food service at a local hospital. Eventually, the family moved back to the Conway area and Lois and Leo enjoyed their retirement years.
In her spare time she enjoyed raising beautiful flowers and taking care of her home. She loved her family dearly and liked visiting with her family and friends.
Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
