She was born and raised in Alabama. After she and Martin were married, they made their home in various locations following her husband’s work. Through the years, Lois was a devoted homemaker to her husband and lovingly raised their ten children. In the 1970’s, Lois moved to the Lebanon, Missouri area where she made her home for the rest of her life. After she and Billy were married, they made their home near Lebanon for several years.
Lois had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Grace Calvary Church in Lebanon. She loved to sing unto the Lord at church and also witness to others.
She enjoyed caring for her family. Her joyful greeting for all was, “I guess you know I am the mother of ten children?”. She was very proud of her children and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lois was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her ninety years.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. at Grace Calvary Church in Lebanon. Friends may call at their convenience. Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery.
