Lois G. Wilson (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Lois Geneva Wilson, age 92 of Bolivar, passed away on Sunday October 26, 2014At the Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility in Bolivar surrounded by her family.
Lois was born January 29, 1922 to Arthur and Margaret J. (Maggie) (Hubbert) Parrott.
She was saved at an early age at the Salem Missionary Baptist Church at Cliquot. After she was married she moved membership to the Enon Missionary Baptist Church and later moved to the Goodson Missionary Baptist Church.
Lois married Homer E. Wilson in September 1938 and to this union two daughters was born, Joan and Terry. Lois was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Maggie, husband Homer, Sisters, Zelma Tinsley, Wilma Wollard and brother PFC Loren Parrott in WWII. Also granddaughter Ronda Dennesse Ashlock.
Lois is survived by her daughters, Joan Vincent and husband Deral, Terry Ashlock and husband Marvin, Grandchildren, Mark Vincent, Alan Vincent and wife Jenine, Debbie Rains and husband Alva, Diane Hart and husband Brent, Rebecca Herbert and fiancé Jody Farmer and Joshua Ashlock. Great grandchildren, Erica Vincent, Hope Francka, Ashley and Whitney Vincent, Abby and Matthew Rains, Lauren, Hart, Anthony and Paige Herbert and Blaid Ashlock. Great Great Grandchildren, Landon Kohler, Mia Vincent, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Her greatest joy in life was her family and friends. Lois was strong in her Christian faith and always willing to help others. Lois worked many years at Lou’s Drug Store.
Her sense of humor, smile and love will be greatly missed by many.
