On January 19, 1944, she was united in marriage to Duane W. Anthony, and to this union one son was born.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Lola is survived by a son, David Anthony, and his wife, Kathi, of St. Augustine, Florida; four grandchildren, Lesley Price, of Knoxville, Tennessee, Donna Thompson, of Jacksonville, Florida, Dawn Anthony, of Orange Park, Florida, and David Anthony, Jr., and his wife, Jennie, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; six great-grandchildren, Jessica, Robert, Kaitlyn, Dylan, Brooklyn, and Bennett; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised on the family farm, near Crocker, Missouri, and graduated from Crocker High School. After she and Duane were married, they traveled across the nation following Duane’s work. For several years, they lived in Severna Park, Maryland. During those years, Lola was a devoted homemaker to her husband and a loving mother to her son. Later, Lola returned to the Crocker area and then eventually moved to Lebanon.
Lola had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a longtime active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lebanon.
She was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge # 21. In her spare time she enjoyed listening to music and was very fond of animals. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lola was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her long life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them throughout the years.
