Lola Eleen Jackson's Obituary
Lola Eileen Jackson, daughter of Lowe Arthur and Edna Chambers Moore, was born April 23, 1925 in Hartville, Missouri. She departed this life Friday, January 5, 2007 in the Hartville Care Center at the age of eighty-one years, six months and twelve days. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Pauline Trevino and Mamie Calton; two brothers, Gene and James Arthur Moore; and a great-grandson. Lola is survived by three daughters, Barbara Dropps, of Winona, Minnesota, Janet Cox and Jannette Row, both of Portland, Oregon; two sons, Jack Dugger, of Springfield, Oregon and Richard Dugger, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; three sisters, Amie Lansdown, Aleth Dugger and Virginia Craver, all of Hartville, Missouri; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was born and raised in the Hartville community and attended the Moore School. She later resided in Idaho and California for a number of years, before returning to Hartville. Throughout her life she worked as a waitress, for a dry cleaners, and gave home care for seniors. Lola had professed her faith in Christ and was a member of the Hartville Assembly of God Church. She loved visiting with family and friends and in her spare time she enjoyed fishing, sewing, quilting and making rugs. Each family member and friend will always hold precious memories of the unique and special ways she touched their lives. She will live in our hearts forever. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2007, in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home Hartville. Burial will be in Moore Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 7 - 8:30 p.m. under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Hartville, Missouri.
