Lola Sarri's Obituary
Lola May Saari, daughter of Oliver and Martha Ann Belt Key, was born April 3, 1924 in Waverly, Missouri. She departed this life Tuesday, March 23, 2010, in Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Missouri; at the age of eighty-five years, eleven months and twenty days. She was united in marriage to Robert Joseph Saari. Together they shared many happy years until his passing on May 18, 1997. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Carolyn E. Schindler; three brothers, Edmond Key, Charles Key and Leroy Key; and a sister, Margaret Carter. Survivors include a son, Gary Holmes and wife Debby of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; a son-in-law, Dennis Schindler; of Camdenton, Missouri; ten grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Lola was raised in Waverly, Missouri; and spent the majority of her adult life in the Kansas City area. She worked at Parmalee Plastics and later as a waitress. She enjoyed time spent as a homemaker. She moved to the Lake of the Ozarks twenty years ago and considered the lake area home. Lola made a profession of faith and was a member of the Potter’s House in Camdenton. In her spare time she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and making trips to the casino boats. She was an avid baseball fan and enjoyed cheering for the Missouri teams. She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and aunt and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday March 27, 2010 at the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Camdenton. Private family burial will be in the Allee-Memorial gardens. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m until time of service under the direction of the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home Camdenton, Missouri. Return to top
