Lolita Hayward's Obituary
Lolita Ruth Hayward, daughter of the late Rudolph John and Hermine Dorothy Dvork Schwimmer, was born September 9, 1926, in Chicago, Illinois. She departed this life Monday, February 16, 2009, in Osage Beach Health Care, Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of eighty-two years, five months and seven days. Survivors include her sons, Roy Shipley of Roach, Missouri, and Stephen Shipley; two brothers, Harry Schwimmer of Lowell, Indiana, and Rudy Schwimmer of Sun City, Arizona; two sisters, Charolet Breback of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Peggy Atherton of Paw Paw, Illinois; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was raised in Indiana and spent most of her adult life there. She moved to Phoenix, Arizona, for several years and retired to the lake area in 1984. She worked as an Electronics Technician for Mech-Tronics. Lolita was an expert at soldering and wiring and had helped wire Apache Helicopters for the government. She was baptized into the Catholic Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed oil painting, gardening and sewing. She loved animals, especially cats. Lolita was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday February 19, 2009 at the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home Camdenton. Burial will be in the Allee-Memorial Gardens.
