Lonnie Jackson (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Lonnie Wayne Jackson, 67, of Hermitage, MO passed away at his home on August 27, 2018. He was born on April 23, 1951 to Thomas Jackson Sr. and Winona (Wilkins) Jackson in Bremen, KY. The Family moved to Tunas, MO in March 1967, where he attended Tunas High School. Lonnie enjoyed Karaoke, playing pool, hunting, fishing, and canoeing on the Niangua River. He served his country in the United States Army and was a member of Amvets and Eagles and the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Winona Jackson; step-mom, Ilene Jackson; sister, Joyce Price; daughter, Melissa Mackewich; and honorary brother, Jack Upham.
He is survived by his daughter Alona Jackson; son-in-law, Vincent Morgan; brothers, Jim Young, Robert and Anita Young, Jack and Kathy Jackson, and Thomas Jr and Annie Jackson; sister, Penny and Brad Creek; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and people who cared about him.
Cremation rites were accorded under the direction of Cantlon Otterness and Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo, MO.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
