Lonnie Eugene Skinner (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Lonnie “Eugene” Skinner known to some as “Blue Jeans” passed away October 1st, 2020 at his home in Thomasville, Missouri. He was born on September 29th, 1952 in Lexington, Oklahoma to Lonnie and Carolyn (Hamm) Skinner. He was the oldest of thirteen children.
He was baptized May 6th, 1974 by Bro. Claude Greenfield into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn. Eugene was married to Belva Rodgers on June 29th, 1974 by Bro. Dave Rippee in Louisburg, Missouri. He loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed mowing his lawn, traveling, and flicking the kid’s ears.
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Carolyn Skinner; siblings, Drew Skinner, Larry Skinner, Tina Hendersin, Danny Skinner, Melvin Skinner, Dallas Skinner; brother-in-law, Milton Outlaw; and one grandson, Jagger Willis. He is survived by his wife, Belva Skinner; three sons, Brandon & wife Robin Skinner of Purcell, Oklahoma, Bradley & wife Mary Ann Skinner of Rocky, Oklahoma, and Brian & wife Teena Skinner of Coldwater, Mississippi; one daughter, Briscia & husband Tyler Pittman of Altus, Oklahoma; siblings, Rhonda Outlaw, Gwen Medley, Joel Skinner, Nelda Collins, Nina Henderson and Abe Skinner; grandchildren, Shawn Skinner, Reyanne Skinner, Kayla Skinner, Tyler Skinner, Gunner Willes, Maddison Skinner, Logan Skinner, Sheri Jaquez & husband C.J., Christina Dukes, Levi Skinner, Josie Skinner, Katie Skinner, Elisabeth Skinner, Daniel Chambers, Adalynn Pittman, Aubrey Pittman, and Ember Pittman; and three great-grandchildren. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews.
