Lonnie Warson (Humansville)'s Obituary
Lonnie Eugene Warson, born October 1, 1951 in Kansas City, Kansas to Eugene and Norma Warson, departed this life on March 8th, 2018 at the age of 67.
He is survived by his son, Jesse (Merry) Warson of Ozark, Missouri and Daughter, Melissa McHenry of Crestview, Florida; Four Grandchildren, Tamara Lerssen of California, Sadie Warson of Ozark, Missouri, and Logan and Taylor McHenry of Crestview, Florida; and one brother, Mark Warson of Weaubleau, Missouri.
Preceding him in death are both of his parents, Eugene and Norma Warson, his brother, David Warson and his sister Christina Warson.
Lonnie was a truck driver for many years until he had to retire in 2009. He was a jack of all trades, master at none, but he knew how to have fun. He could fix anything and wasn't afraid of hard work. Lonnie lived a life full of orneriness, grouchiness and hatefulness, but under all of that was a big heart who loved his children and grandchildren immensely. He loved getting to see his grandchildren and talking to them on the phone. Lonnie couldn't tell a clean joke to save his life, no matter who the audience and everyone around him just had to accept that fact. He will be missed more than he ever thought possible.
Lonnie will be laid to rest beside his parents, brother and sister at the Humansville Cemetery at a later date.
