Lore Fattelay (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Lore Marie Fattelay, daughter of Emile and Christina Kubler Bauerle, was born November 29, 1918, in Pforzheim, Germany. She departed this life Sunday, February 24, 2013, in her home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of ninety-four years, two months, and twenty-five days.
On December 17, 1949, she was united in marriage to Cesaire Fattelay, and to this union one daughter was born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; and three sisters.
Lore is survived by her daughter, Christa Landon, of Lebanon, Missouri; two grandsons, Walter Landon, and his wife, Cathy, and Kim Landon, and his wife, Kara, all of Lebanon, Missouri; four great-grandchildren, Kaley, Hayden, Kassidy, and Kurt; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She lived most of her life in Germany where after she and Cesaire were married, they lovingly raised their daughter. For over thirty-five years, Lore worked in the laboratory at Michelin Tire Company, and also was a devoted homemaker to her family. She had traveled to the United States twenty-eight times during her life, and then came to live with her daughter a few years ago.
Lore had followed the Protestant faith throughout her life.
In her spare time she enjoyed hiking and biking and traveling through Europe. She was a very meticulous and precise person who was always steadfast in her convictions. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed her grandsons and great-grandchildren.
Lore was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends throughout the years.
A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society or the Lebanon Humane Society, and donations may be left at the Funeral Home.
