Lorene Krahl (Lebanon) 's Obituary
Lorene Frances Krahl, daughter of Albert and Cleo Mosier Moore, was born October 3, 1925, in Eldridge, Missouri. She went home to be with the her Lord on Friday, August 5, 2016, in Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, in Clinton, Missouri, at the age of ninety years, ten months, and two days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George M. Krahl; and a brother, Bluford Moore.
Lorene is survived by two brothers, Harold Moore, and his wife, Mildred, of Eldridge, Missouri, and Bob Moore, of Raymore, Missouri; a sister, Marie Ripley, of Clinton, Missouri; a niece, Dianna Antwiler, of Clinton, Missouri; three nephews, Russell Moore, of Eldridge, Missouri, David Moore, of Linn Creek, Missouri, and Robert Moore, of Raymore, Missouri; a step-daughter, Glenna Williams, and her husband, Nicky; two grandsons, Kevin and Cody of Linn Creek, Missouri; as well as many special nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
She was born and raised in the Eldridge community. Through the years, she worked at a variety of jobs including being a seamstress for the Rice Stix Factory in Lebanon. She also stitched such things as overalls, jeans, Army shirts, and Army tents in Kansas City, Missouri. She later worked at Fashion BILT Coat Factory, and retired from Wal Mart in Camdenton, Missouri.
Lorene belonged to the Eldridge Full Gospel Church in Eldridge, Missouri where she faithfully attended until she was not able to drive.
Lorene never had any children of her own, but she had many nieces, nephews, and friends which she proudly called her own. She was always up for an adventure, and loved to take family members to Branson getaways and musical festivals for fun and entertainment. Lorene enjoyed making things and had many hobbies including crocheting, knitting, and making ceramics. Her favorite hobby was fishing and she loved to tell stories of how she made the “big catch”.
Lorene will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of her family and many friends.
