Louise Box (Mansfield)'s Obituary
Louise Box, daughter of Alfred and Chlora Buhler Duggan, was born August 18, 1942 near Mansfield, Missouri and departed this life on Friday, August 5, 2016 at her home, west of Hartville, Missouri, at the age of seventy-three years, eleven months and seventeen days.
On December 6, 1961, she was united in marriage to David Box and to this union two children were born. David preceded her in death on April 17, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Genevee Fry, Evalyn Mace, Leona Ward and Margie Webb.
Louise is survived by her son, Allen Box and wife, Julie, of Seymour, Missouri; daughter, Angela Box of Hartville, Missouri; sister, Clara Jones and husband, Rabron, of Mansfield, Missouri; brother, Marvin Duggan and wife, Kim, of Buffalo, Missouri; brother-in-law, Paul Box and wife, Josephine, of Otterville, Missouri; sister-in-law, Farrell Ivy of Ozark, Missouri; several nieces and nephews and her two much loved “grand-dogs”, Whiz and Frog.
She was born near Mansfield and attended the Oetting and Mansfield Schools. She had worked at H.D. Lee and Marshfield Casket Company and a full time homemaker.
Louise was saved at a young age at a revival. She loved gardening, baking, was an avid reader and even tried her hand at beekeeping after David passed away.
Louise was loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and will always remember the many special times we had together.
