Louise Builderback (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Louise Builderback, daughter of Ralph and Alma Davis Reid, was born November 18, 1937, near Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Wednesday, October 20, 2021, in Strafford Care Center, in Strafford, Missouri, at the age of eighty-three years, eleven months, and two days.
Early in her life she was united in marriage to Dolphus Leon Builderback and they shared many wonderful years of memories.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dolphus; a brother, Don Reid; and four sisters, Bonnie Reid, Ida Robinson, Doris Ritchey, and Rosie Richardson.
Louise is survived by a sister, Emma Hill, and her husband, William, of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in the Crossroads community and graduated from Lebanon High School. She then worked in retail for a time, moving to Kansas City to work for Sears and Roebuck Company. She returned to the Stoutland area where she and Dolphus made their home and she was a devoted homemaker through the years. She also worked for the H. D. Lee Company for a number of years.
She was always willing to help take care of others in her family. In her spare time she enjoyed working puzzles, reading, particularly western novels, gardening and square dancing. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed having time with her nieces and nephews.
Louise was a loving sister, aunt, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will hold tight to the wonderful memories she made for them during her lifetime.
