Louise Primm's Obituary
Louise Adeliade Primm, daughter of William Thomas and Louise Elizabeth Osgood Donovan, was born April 25, 1923, in Lynn, Massachusetts. She departed this life Sunday, September 7, 2008, at the Hartville Care Center in Hartville, Missouri, at the age of eighty-five years, four months, and twelve days. On June 5, 1945, Louise was united in marriage to Glenn Albert Primm, Sr., and to this union five children were born. Louise was preceded by her parents, her husband, Glenn, on June 21, 1993, and an infant brother. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Mayo, of Hartville, Missouri; four sons, Glenn Primm, Jr. of Los Angeles, California, Donovan Primm, of Dallas, Texas, Lawrence Primm, of Higley, Arizona, and Christopher Primm, of Lebanon, Missouri; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and many dear friends. Louise spent all of her childhood in Saugus, Massachusetts and was a graduate of the Saugus High School. She worked for General Electric for a few years before entering into the United States Navy. She met Glenn in Jacksonville, Florida, and they were married a short time later. They spent time living in Massachusetts, Oregon, New Hampshire and California until 1984, when she and Glenn followed their dream and moved to the Ozarks. In her younger years, Louise enjoyed exploring in the West and was a Cub Scout Leader. She also liked to go camping and picnicking, and in her spare time enjoyed crocheting and reading. Louise’s family was very important to her and she loved being the best mom she could be to her five children. Louise was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she has created for her family and friends. Services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday September 13, 2008 at the Holman- Howe Funeral Home, Hartville. burial will be in the Steele Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the Holman- Howe Funeral Home Hartville, Missouri.
