Lowell Dean Gower (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Lowell "Dean" Gower, 81, of Thornfield, MO, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025. He was born in Elkland, MO to Russell and Gertrude Gower. Dean and Glenda “Sue” Gower shared a loving union for over 62 years. Dean's life was defined by the open road and tending to a small piece of God’s fertile land, embracing the challenges and rewards of being a self-employed truck driver and farmer. His strong work ethic and the love he had for his family brought him immense joy throughout his life. He will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his farm and the deep affection he showed to his family. He is survived by his wife, Glenda “Sue” Gower, and his three sons: Rick, Richard, and Robert, along with their families. Dean will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on August 14, 2025, in the Thorpe Cemetery near Charity, MO.
