Lowell Glenn Hetterle (Hartville)'s Obituary
Lowell Glenn Hetterle, son of Jacob Fredrick and Ada Florence Miner Hetterle, was born February 2, 1934 in Weld County, Colorado. He departed this life Saturday, December 13, 2014 in the Hartville Care Center, at the age of eighty-years, ten months, and eleven days.
On December 10, 1953, Lowell was united in marriage to Opal Marguerita Larsen, and to this union eight children were born.
Lowell was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Rosella Schwartz.
He is survived by his wife, Opal, of the home; children, Ralph Hetterle, Jason Hetterle, Jeff Hetterle, Jon Hetterle, Julia Hetterle, Debbie Gettle, Sharon Banks, and Mindy Breckenridge; grandchildren, Laurie Orellana, George Spaulding, Jeremiah Gettle, Jessica Frerichs, Isaac Hetterle, Charell Hetterle, Thomas Hetterle, Justin Hetterle, Christina Friesen, Morgan Moody, Zackery Breckenridge, Buck Breckenridge, Mariah Hetterle, Easton Hetterle, Robin Hetterle, Lauren Hetterle, Wyatt Hetterle, Jenesis Hetterle, and Adalyne Hetterle; great-grandchildren, Rebekah Orellana, Caleb Orellana, Sasha Gettle, Malia Gettle, Hannah Hetterle, Isaiah Hetterle, Emily Hetterle, Elijah Hetterle, Daniel Hetterle, Wesley Hetterle, Noah Hetterle, Makana Breckenridge, Malia Breckenridge, Mahinalani Breckenridge, and Niki Reed; his siblings, Paul Hetterle and Gloria Hetterle; a number of nieces, nephew, and as well as many dear friends.
Lowell was of the Seventh-day Adventist faith. Throughout the years he served as Elder, Head Deacon, and Sabbath School Leader and Teacher.
He enjoyed inventing or improving tools and other useful items to make his work at home and on the farm easier.
Lowell was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories he created for his family and friends.
Memorial services will be held at the Ave Seventh-day Adventist Church on January 8, 2015 at 2:30 P. M.
