Lucy Cantrell (Mansfield)'s Obituary
Lucy Levern Cantrell, daughter of Cleo and Levern Cannon Keeling, was born January 26, 1956 in Mansfield, Missouri and departed this life on December 14, 2014 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri at the age of fifty-eight years, ten months and eighteen days.
On September 12, 1974 she was united in marriage to Stephen Cantrell and to this union two children were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ernie and a sister, Ellen.
Lucy is survived by her husband of 40 years, Steve of the home; son, Stephen Cantrell of Mansfield, Missouri; daughter, Tracy Hicks and husband, Gary of Macomb, Missouri; granddaughter, Kadence Hicks of Macomb, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Lucy lived all of her life in Mansfield. She attended Mansfield Schools, was a homemaker, and had worked at Country Express convenience store in Mansfield for 5 years.
She made a profession of faith in Christ and was member of Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church.
In her spare time she loved spoiling her granddaughter, cooking and gardening.
Lucy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a caring neighbor and friend.
We celebrate her life and although we are saddened by her passing, we know that her 11 year battle of pain and suffering is over.
