Lura Ansbro's Obituary
Lura Mae Ansbro, age 80 of Stockton, MO passed away at 11:02 PM Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at the Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar after a lingering illness. Mrs. Ansbro was born on January 14, 1928 in Caldwell, MO the daughter of Henry Remagan and Lura Mae (Brown) Remagen. She was a retired Secretary for the U. S. Army and a member of the Church On The Hill in Stockton, MO. We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name.In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone;for part of us went with you the day God called you home.You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side.Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same,but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. Surviving is her husband Glenn J. Ansbro of the home, two sons, Richard White of Eldorado Springs, MO; and Donald White and wife Marion of Foristell, MO; three daughters, Patricia Thomas and husband Rodney of Stockton, MO; Sherry Corona of Eldorado Springs, MO; and Kathy Mitzel and husband Lee of Milica, MN. Also a brother, Walt Newton and wife Caroline of Pleasant Hope, MO and two step-sons, John Ansbro and wife Martha of the state of Colorado and Patrick Ansbro. 16 Grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
