Lynn Pruitt (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Nevelyn ‘Lynn” Elise Pruitt, daughter of Samuel Dewey and Ruth Maxine Kelsey Lambeth, was born August 27, 1964, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Friday, May 11, 2018, in her home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-three years, eight months, and fourteen days.
On June 26, 1982, she was united in marriage to Stanley Wayne Pruitt, and to this union two sons were born.
She was preceded in death by her father; and her husband, Stanley, on February 24, 2015.
Lynn is survived by two sons, Scott Pruitt, and his wife, Heather, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Robert Pruitt, of Buckhorn, Missouri; three grandchildren, Emily, Anthony, and Robert; her mother, Ruth Lambeth, of Lebanon, Missouri; two brothers, Dennis Lambeth, of Richland, Missouri, and Patrick Lambeth, of Land O Lakes, Florida; a sister, Faith Husmann, of La Crescent, Minnesota; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was raised in the Richland community and graduated from Richland High School. She then studied and became a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked at Breech Medical Center for several years. After she and Stanley were married, they made their home near Lebanon and lovingly raised their sons. Lynn was also a devoted pastor’s wife and assisted her husband in his ministry. She had been working on getting a Woman’s Ministry Degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Lynn was very active in the ministry at Elm Grove Baptist Church and lately had been active in the Competition Baptist Church and in mission trips. Women’s ministry was her passion and she was very interested in finishing her studies.
In her spare time she enjoyed sightseeing and spending time with her beloved dog, “Benji”. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
Lynn was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
