Mabel Evelyn Sergent (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Evelyn Sergent,87, died peacefully Tuesday, December 6, 2011 in Farmington, MO where she had recently moved from Columbia, MO.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight W. Sergent. The Sergents were longtime residents of Carthage, MO. Evelyn was born in Ethel, MO to Claude and Mabel Davolt. She was the youngest of nine children and the only girl in the family. The family moved to the Stockton/Fairplay area when Evelyn was a young girl.
Her parents and brothers (Ervin, Virgil, Russell, Carl, Orla, Fred, Hildra, and Raymond) all preceded her in death.
She is survived by her three children Ron (Marsha) Sergent, Susan (Sergent) Boren and Christi Sergent (Rob) Wolverton; her grandchildren Scott (Amy) Sergent, Jason (Monica) Sergent, Sara Boren Luesse (Adam), Lindsay Boren Pashia (Jake), Katie Wolverton and Lauren Wolverton; and five great grandchildren Emma, Claire, Hannah, Ella and Harper.
Visitation will be Friday at 1:00 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, MO with the funeral service to follow at 2:00. Burial will be at Reed Cemetery in Halfway, MO. under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri.
Memorials in her name may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church in Columbia, MO or to a charity of your choice.
