Mack Webster's Obituary
Mack Webster, son of Porter and Rosa Rogers Webster, was born February 27, 1935, in Camden County, Missouri. He departed this life Sunday, July 20, 2008, in Boone Hospital, Columbia, Missouri, at the age of seventy-three years, four months and twenty-three days. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Frank, Bill, J.D., Russ and Mark, his twin and one sister, Dorothy Burns. Survivors include his children, Maxine Bartee and husband, David, and Kenneth Webster and wife, Angela, all of Richland, Missouri, Jim Webster and wife, Debbie, of Urbana, Missouri, Nancy Hanks and husband, Tom, and Donna Upton and husband, Russell, all of Kaiser, Missouri; a companion, Dorothy Webster of Camdenton, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; three sisters, Freida Stouffer and husband, Gleason, of Bolivar, Missouri, Nancy Sherwin of Camdenton, Missouri, and Helen Morris and husband, Stanley, of Fair Grove, Missouri; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Mack was raised in Camden County and served his country in the U.S. Army at Ft. Leonard Wood for a short time. After being honorably discharged from the Army, he returned to Camden County where he worked for Blair Cedar. He later moved to Kansas City, where he began a career as a dock worker for Middle West Freight Way. He retired after thirty years of service and moved to Richland, Missouri. He was saved and baptized at Ira Missionary Baptist Church in Eldridge. In his spare time, he enjoyed working around the farm and helping with the cattle. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mack was a loving father, companion, grandfather, brother and uncle and was a caring neighbor and friend. We will miss him, but know that his memory will live on forever in our hearts. Services will be at 1:00 p.m Wednesday July 23, 2008 at the Allee- Holman- Howe Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Macks Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening 6-8:00 p.m. and are under the direction of Allee- Holman- Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Return to top
