Mackenzee "Mack" Henderson (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Mackenzee Austin “Mack” Henderson, 14, of Fair Play, Missouri, departed this life suddenly, on Friday evening, June 19, 2015, at his residence.
Mack entered this life on June 22, 2000, in Springfield, Missouri, born to the union of James Joseph and Melissa K. (Lacey) Henderson. He was a lifelong resident of the Springfield metro area. He attended Fair Play Schools and just completed his freshman year. He enjoyed playing his Xbox, texting his friends and being outdoors where his favorite activities were hunting and fishing. Mack was baptized at the First United Methodist Church in Oronogo, Missouri.
He is survived by his parents, James and Melissa Henderson and two sisters, Cloey and Kallie Henderson, all of the home; maternal grandparents, Larry Lacey and wife, Linda, of Oronogo, Missouri and Marilyn Carlin of Smithville, Missouri; paternal grandparents, James V. Henderson and wife, Jeri, of Springfield, Missouri and Teresa Byers and husband, John, also of Springfield; two uncles, Robert Lacey of Oronogo and Andrew Henderson of Springfield; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services for Mackenzee are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church in Oronogo, Missouri, with Pastor Max Raney officiating. Burial will follow in the Oronogo Cemetery.
Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are James Henderson, Andy Henderson, Robert Lacey, Larry Lacey, Jim Henderson, Tony Carlin and John Byers.
